What is FFF?

Welsh Assembly Government/EU funded three year project solely for the trees and
timber sector within Wales, concentrating on forestry businesses first.

Through the project businesses can:

  • have training plans drawn up free of charge
  • access up to 75% funding for training courses
  • maintain and access training records through the secure project database

Who is FFF For?

Sole traders, self employed contractors, and businesses connected with trees and timber, who reside and work in Wales.

How Does FFF Work?

Ring the Freephone number to register with the project, and a trained
advisor will be sent to meet with you, to help you draft a training plan for your
business. Once registered with the project all the training needs for your business will be considered, knowledge transfer training will be 100% funded and up to 75% funding is available for skill training.

Funding Caps
FFF will fund 75% of a training course up to £1,000 per person per a course i.e. a training course costing £1,200 – we will fund 75% of £1,000 (£750 funding). There is a total cap of £3,000 actual funding (not £3,00 total training course cost) per person per year.
