Welsh Support for Welsh Forestry

Focus on Forestry First is a project funded by WAG / EU and offers the trees and timber sector the opportunity to develop their businesses. This will help employees to update and develop their skills for work, in business and for life! The project intends to provide a unique skills database allowing both businesses and employees access to their training & assessment records on line.

We hope for new opportunities and challenges to make 2014 a happy and prosperous year.

Thank you to those who have updated their FFF paperwork.

If you are yet to complete this, please contact us in order to access funding this year!

Update May 14: At present FFF are unable to add new companies onto the project. We are however in the process of applying for more funding and if successful we can take on more companies. We will update you if this is the case.

FFF is consistently receiving training requests with less than 1 weeks’ notice. We would like to remind Beneficiaries & Training Providers, the project asks for a preferable 4weeks notice of a training event. We understand under certain circumstances this is not possible; however in most cases this can be avoided.

Also to remind our Beneficaries registered onto the project that your skills check must be up to date with the training requested identified on there and we must receive your payment BEFORE the course takes place to secure the funding. If you do not receive a deposit invoice before you attend a course please get in touch to chase this up.
