What is FFF?

Focus on Forestry First is a three year project funded by the Welsh Assembly Government & European Union for forestry and related industries in the trees and timber sector.

Through the project businesses can

  • have training plans drawn up free of charge
  • access up to 100% funding for training courses
  • maintain and access training records through the secure project database

The project is being managed by MWMAC Ltd, a company with a strong background in providing support and training in this Industry sector.

Business Skills Audits & Training Plans – Free

Register with the project and take your firm forward with a free business skills audit and training development plan. A Focus on Forestry First representative with experience in the Forestry sector will meet you to discuss what you want to achieve and develop a training plan personal to your business.

Seminars & Workshops can be 100% Funded – Tell us what you Want!

Focus on Forestry First will organise relevant seminars and workshops. These are open to anyone involved with the trees and timber sector. Tell us what you want and we will endeavour to arrange an event for you. For example if you need assistance with Health & Safety, People Skills & Staff Management, Computers & Websites, Accounting & Record keeping to name just a few Focus on Forestry First can provide interesting and informative sessions to help you achieve your goals.

Training Courses – Up to 75% funding

Focus on Forestry First can provide funding for training courses linked to the forestry sector from woodland management, timber extraction to the first cut in the saw mill. To benefit you will need to register with the project and receive a business skills audit and training plan plus attend at least one seminar or workshop.
