Learning and Development Support Service 

We are excited to announce that we will soon be launching a new Learning and Development Support Service.

Our aim is to provide professional help to organise training for your company. Helping you keep on top of industry changes and updates.

The service will include:

  • Training needs analysis

  • Training plan development and management

  • Identifying training providers and organising training

Forestry and Arboriculture Training Fund

We are pleased to have been accepted as a registered provider for the Forestry and Arboriculture Training Fund.

If you live or work in England, you can apply for funding to cover the full cost of short, practical training courses in forestry and arboriculture.

This funding may be used to cover the cost of some of our Seminars and Courses.

Courses in England

We are now organising affordable training workshops and seminars in England. Kicking off the programme we have the following courses open for bookings:

Forestry Works Manager Awareness | Thursday, 11 April 2024 @ Venue TBC, Nr. Kendal, Cumbria.

Forestry Works Manager Awareness | Friday, 12 April 2024 @ Sherwood Pines Visitor Center, Kings Clipstone, Mansfield, NG21 9JL

We will be adding more courses and dates soon, so keep an eye out for updates!

Last call for Skills Development Notifications:

All Notifications for courses within the current funding scheme (50% funding for Skills Development courses), must be received by 5pm on Monday 4 December 2023.

  • After this date, we cannot guarantee funding for your course.

  • All assessments must be completed by Sunday 31 December 2023.

Training Providers: We cannot accept any notifications for courses with a start date after Sunday 31 December 2023. All claim invoices must be submitted by Monday 12 February 2024.

There will be no further Skills Development funding after this round. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our agreed Training Providers and Beneficiary Businesses for your contribution to the scheme. We are proud of our achievements and the support that FFF has provided the sector in Wales over the years.

Christmas is coming!

Our office will be closed from 3pm on Thursday 21 December 2023 until 9am on Tuesday 9 January 2024.
