Important Changes to Skills Development Funding: Notifications Suspended.
Focus on Forestry First Ltd has continued to monitor the take-up of the grant to ensure that we spend all the funds on supporting essential training for the trees and timber sector. This has been a fast-moving situation and due to a recent sustained surge in demand for support, our forecast is that we have committed all of our Skills Development funds.
We will process the notifications we have received to date and will continue to do so until those that are received before 5pm on Friday 7th May 2021. After this, all notifications are suspended.
Training Providers: Please ensure you have submitted your notifications for courses before this date. We cannot accept any notifications for courses with a start date after 31st July 2021.
We will continue to monitor the financial situation closely, and should any funds be released due to cancellations, we will re-open a notifications window later in the year.
Unless informed otherwise, beneficiaries who book training without a notification will have to pay 100% of the cost directly to their training provider.
