Ecology Training UK has been running courses for a number of years (as Acorn Ecology) and has now built up a national reputation for training ecologists. The number of courses available is increasing each year and range from longer courses like the Certificate in Ecological Consultancy to one and two-day courses on a variety of topics from bats and badgers to beginner’s botany and bird identification. We also have a selection of online, home study courses to provide background knowledge about ecology, aimed at those people who lack a relevant degree, as well as courses on species identification, invasive species and habitat management.
“I’m over the moon and I just wanted to say a huge thank you to you all. There’s no way I would have been in this position (just offered first ecology job) had it not been for the Certificate PLUS course and my month of work experience. This time last year I was working in a call centre, in a job I hated, and would look at the course web page between calls dreaming of what could be. Now, just a few months later and I’m about to start a job I absolutely love. Thank you so much!! :)”
