Based on the Forestry Works Manager (FWM) role and FISA guidance, the course is applicable to a wide range of land-based and operational activities, including but not limited to forestry operations.
It is designed for Works Managers, Site Supervisors, Team Leaders and those responsible for overseeing contractors and works on site.
Suitable as a refresher for those who have previously completed FISA Forestry Works Manager training. This is a training course (not a formal qualification), supported by FISA, developed by mwmac Ltd.

This course provides an overview of the key responsibilities of a Forestry Works Manager (FWM), based on FISA guidance on managing health and safety in forestry.
It is applicable to a wide range of land-based operations and service contracts, covering all types of works carried out on site.
The course supports those responsible for planning, coordinating and overseeing work, ensuring operations are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legal requirements and industry guidance.
